Segmental and focal hyalinosis, schistosomiasis: Association or coincidence?

چکیده

Schistosomiasis is the second most devastating tropical parasitic disease worldwide and responsible for many urological complications. However, glomerular injury a rare complication mainly described with Schistosoma haematobium. We describe first case of Schistosomia infection, associated to segmental focal hyalinosis in young Senegalese patient nephrotic syndrome responding perfectly well antiparasitic treatment complete remission syndrome.
